How Darwin was affected after Cylone Tracy

Hey everyone back again with another post about Cyclone Tracy. Cyclone Tracy affected Darwin in multiple ways. Some are economically, socially and environmentally. The way that the economy has been affected is that there was nothing left to make any money so the economy would have failed. The residents would have been very socially depressed with all of their property have been destroyed. The environment was completely destroyed. All of thease reason affected Darwin after Cyclone Tracy

How did Cyclone Tracy form?

Hey everyone back again with another post about Cyclone Tracy. Cyclone Tracy was formed the same way as all other cyclones do. The warm ocean in the tropical regions starts them with the temperature generally needing to be above 26.5°C. Once a cyclone has formed it can generally move over cooler waters. All cyclones lose their source of energy when they move over land or colder oceans causing there system to fail. Their system can also fail if they move into an unfavourable wind regime disturbing their systems.

Hey everyone back again with another post about Cyclone Tracy. On Christmas day 1974 Cyclone Tracy hit Darwin. With winds of 240km/h and a diameter of 80 kilometres she left nothing in her path. Cyclone Tracy was recorded as a Category 4 cyclone in the Australian scale and category 3 in the Saffir-Simpson Hurricane Scale.
